POSITION
Summary:

Responsible for the boarding and servicing of commercial loans and lease on the applicable systems that include standard and complex commercial, SBA, and syndicated loan transactions as well as the Commercial credit card portfolio. This position will also be responsible for reviewing commercial loan/lease presentation documentation to verify the terms for loan boarding, performing loan payment and renewal servicing, and serve as the facilitator for payment remittances to participants of loans sold.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • High School diploma required, College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years commercial loan or lease servicing experience
  • Previous experience servicing complex, SBA, and syndicated loans preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks/projects in a disciplined and organized fashion while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles
  • Thorough understanding of Bank compliance regulations regarding loans
  • Able to work with various software programs (i.e.:
    FIS, Word, Excel, Laser Pro, CRIF ACTion, Aspire, Lotus Notes, Onbase, exception tracking systems, etc.)
  • Position requires the need to work varied hours/days including occasional overtime and possible weekends as the work load dictates. May need to travel to other branch locations

DUTIES/
Responsibilities:

  • Board and service commercial, complex commercial, Letters of Credit, floor plans, SBA, participation/syndicated, and Revolving credit loans or leases and Commercial credit cards to the applicable systems with a very high degree of accuracy
  • Enter payment and payoff transactions to applicable systems with a very high degree of accuracy
  • Complete tax and insurance payments from escrow accounts as dictated by loan terms and provisions
  • Complete routine/miscellaneous maintenance transactions as appropriate
  • Prepare general ledger ticket entries to coincide with transactions entered to system
  • Complete daily check-back and administer the necessary corrections to resolve exceptions noted
  • Track daily volumes for monthly recap and statistical reporting
  • Administer IRS Corrections as required
  • Complete Charge Off transactions for impaired loans
  • Monitor and maintain Interest Reserve Accounts
  • Serve as a mentor for training new team members
  • Assist in Special Projects such as system conversions and/or bank acquisitions
  • Provide outstanding customer service and display a positive demeanor at all times
  • Maintain outstanding quality service by meeting and/or exceeding established service level agreements
  • Participate in all required training sessions for compliance
  • Maintain adequate controls to ensure compliance with consumer protection statues/regulations

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
