Our client is seeking an Inside Sales
to join their team in Gurnee, IL.
Candidate will be responsible for key initiatives that will help drive the growth of the business in North America and will have ownership in the success of our business against set performance goals.
The key responsibilities will include identifying, qualifying and nurturing leads from cold calling efforts and various Digital Marketing sources, as well as managing own funnel to drive opportunities through closure.
Will also fully manage a large number of existing accounts to further understand growth opportunities for client's business.
Will support Territory Manager's with internal coordination efforts (e.g., pricing, RMAs, order status).
Overview of position responsibilities:
Own the lead qualification process, assigning opportunities to the right owners based on pre-defining criteria and managing own funnel of opportunities through closure
Actively manage a large number of existing distributor, OEM and end user accounts to understand their annual spend on temperature controllers and related products, our share of their business, and the competitive situation within each account to maintain and grow our business with them
Drive cold calling efforts in order to proactively identify new leads and opportunities that will help us achieve our overall growth targets
Support Territory Managers with internal coordination of quote requests, RMAs, order status and other key requests

Client requirements for consideration:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering or related field
Experience interacting with external customers either in person or over the phone
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi task and manage multiple ongoing projects
Self-starter who engages themselves fully in their responsibilities
This position is for an entry level candidate to grow with the organization
Ideally someone fairly recent out of school who has an interest in entering the sales function.
Candidate MUST have a BS degree ideally in marketing, engineering or something similar. T
Candidate must have some sort of customer facing experience
Client will consider someone out of school a few years, however, they still need to have customer facing experience
Candidate needs to have a desire to progress to an outside sales role.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
