Maintains production equipment and quality of production by ensuring proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTONS:
? Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
? Repair of maintain the operating condition of industrial machinery and facility equipmentPerforms change over setups on equipment as needed for production in an accurate and timely matter ensuring minimal downtime.
? Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, and production machines.
? Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions.
? Inspects and monitors work areas, examines tools and equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.
? Troubleshooting malfunctions - Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctionsAbility to locate the source of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
? Perform routine maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and maintenance requests.
? Operate basic maintenance shop machines, sanders, grinders, drill press, hydraulic press.
? Keep maintenance shop in clean safe working and refill basic supplies as needed.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
? Troubleshooting:
Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it? Critical Thinking:
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,conclusions or approaches to problems.
? Complex Problem Solving:
Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop andevaluate options and implement solutions.
? Work approaches:
must have routinely interacted with employees.
? Communication skills:
Must be able to read and write in English and SpanishAbility to effectively presentinformation and respond to questions from management, peers, and subordinate.
? Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions and numbering.
? Must be able to calculate basic arithmetic, (i.
eadd, subtract, multiply and divide).
? Computer skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft word processing, excel and e-mail programAbility to work withtablets.
? Must be punctual and reliable.
? Must have good organizational and observation skills.
? Safety:
working knowledge of safety rules, regulations, training.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
(The following qualifications can be acquired and demonstratedthrough experience, education and/or vocational training as noted or as appropriate.
)? High School diploma or equivalent required.
? Six (6) years of experience in industrial maintenance experience or related field? Excellent mechanical skills with knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and electrical theory.

? Full timeWORK SCHEDULE CONVERTING:
Flexible to work overtime in a short notice.
