Under the direction of a supportive and empowering supervisor, you will enjoy creating quality improvement activities and initiatives within OHUs Southern Illinois programs that serve children, youth and families
With the CQI team, you will work to continuously improve the delivery of service to children, youth and families through performing regular reviews
Youll enjoy growing your knowledge about the Continuous Quality Improvement policy and procedures, accreditation standards, best practices, and contractual requirements of OHU programs
You will identify and establish meaningful outcome measures of program quality within OHUs Lines of Service, contributing to ongoing improvement
Youll get to help develop and the agencys quality peer review program every year and to implement them
Youll join the CQI team in training others in quality improvement and in trainings around documentation
You will be OHUs quality improvement representative at external organizations/meetings
Although home-based, you can expect to travel 2-3 days a week to program offices, purposefully connecting with Hope Members towards developing effective collaboration and communicationWhat we expect from you:
Education
You will need to have a BA/BS degree in a social services or related field
We would love it if you would have a masters degree in this area, but it is not requiredExperience
Having 5 years of experience in social services or related field is preferred (but not required) as it provides the most effective foundation for doing this quality improvement workSkills
As mentioned before, a keen attention to and love for! - detail is essential in this role
An openness and ease in communication, being able to self-initiate and maintain connections with Hope Members at various OHU locations
Finding fulfillment in being independent and reliable in your workCertification
Also, please note that a Qualified Mental Health Professional certification would put you far ahead of the game as this knowledge base would equip you to effectively serve many of our programsIn Addition
You will also need to have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance (50/100/50)What you can expect from us:
